Terms of use

Effective as of March 28, 2026

1. Acceptance of the Terms

Use of the wedding website creation service offered on weddi.events (the “Service”) implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms of Use without reservation.

2. Service description

The Service allows the creation of a customizable wedding website including:

  • A publicly accessible website hosted on a dedicated subdomain
  • An administration area to customize website content
  • A guest management and RSVP system
  • Management of dietary information and guest groups
  • File uploads (photos, documents)

3. User obligations

The user agrees to:

  • Use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose (creating a wedding website)
  • Not publish any unlawful, defamatory, insulting, discriminatory, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate content
  • Not infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Not use the Service for commercial purposes other than those expressly intended
  • Provide accurate information when placing an order
  • Comply with applicable law, in particular image rights rules

4. Administrator account

Access to the administration areas related to the Service (the Weddi platform and the customer’s wedding website) is protected by authentication mechanisms implemented by the publisher.

At the time of ordering, an administrator account is associated with the customer on the Weddi platform. Depending on the relevant area, access may then rely on a password, a session token or any other secure authentication method provided by the publisher.

The customer is solely responsible for keeping their access methods confidential and for any activity carried out from their administration areas. In case of suspected unauthorized use, the customer must inform the publisher without delay at mauc.thomas@gmail.com.

5. Guest data

The couple is responsible for collecting the personal data of their guests (names, contact details, dietary information and RSVP responses).

The couple undertakes to inform their guests about the collection of their data and about their rights of access, rectification and deletion. The couple acts as data controller for guest data, while the publisher acts as processor within the meaning of the GDPR.

6. Intellectual property

The wedding website template, its source code, design and graphic elements are and remain the exclusive property of the publisher. The customer benefits from a non-exclusive, non-transferable license of use limited to the duration of the Service.

Any reproduction, copying, extraction or reuse of the template or source code is strictly prohibited.

7. Service availability

The publisher strives to ensure the availability of the Service 24/7. However, the publisher does not guarantee continuous and uninterrupted availability.

The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical failures or events beyond the publisher’s control (force majeure, hosting provider failure, etc.).

The publisher cannot be held liable for damages resulting from temporary unavailability of the Service.

8. Changes to the Terms

The publisher reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force on the date of the order.

In the event of a material change, users with an active website will be informed by email.

9. Applicable law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be submitted to the competent French courts after an attempt at amicable resolution.
